Assigning a client policy combination to another MSDP server

To assign a client policy combination to another MSDP server

  1. Run the following MSDP command to check which MSDP servers the client policy combinations are currently assigned to.

    cacontrol --cluster get-cp-assignment <dsid-of-mvg-volume> <client> <policy>

  2. Run the following MSDP command to change the assignments:

    cacontrol --cluster set-cp-assignment <dsid-of-mvg-volume> <client> <policy> <msdp-server>
