Managing the NFS version 3 server services for the MSDP container

You can manage the NFS version 3 server services for the MSDP container in Flex Scale using the NetBackup deduplication shell.

NFS version 3 is disabled by default in NetBackup Flex Scale 3.5.

To manage the NFS version 3 server services for the MSDP container

  1. Open an SSH session to the server as an appliance administrator for NetBackup Flex Scale.
  2. View the NFS server versions supported by the current kernel configuration.

    setting NFS get-nfs-versions

  3. Enable NFS version 3 server services for the MSDP container.

    setting NFS enable-nfsv3

  4. Disable NFS version 3 server services for the MSDP container.

    setting NFS disable-nfsv3
