Configuring the maximum concurrent number of jobs in the storage unit

MVG server uses the maximum concurrent job number in the storage unit to determine the maximum number of the optimized duplication jobs for data migration. The evacuation process does not proceed if the number is set to 0. In this case, the state of the disk volume does not change in the MVG volume details page.

MVG server gets the number from the latest settings of the storage unit periodically. By default, it is set to every 5 minutes. Run the following MSDP command to change the interval:

mvgapiutil evac setconfig

This command opens a configuration editor. Set the value for the following parameter:

max_cj_refresh_interval
