Changing the destination storage unit for MSDP server evacuation

You can change the destination storage unit for the MSDP server evaluation.

Note:

The existing optimized duplication jobs continue to use the previous storage unit. Only the newly created jobs use the new storage unit.

To change the destination storage unit for MSDP server evacuation

  1. In the left navigation pane, go to Storage > Disk storage.
  2. Click the Disk pools tab.
  3. Locate the MVG disk pool that contains the MVG disk volume with the MSDP server and disk volume to be evacuated.
  4. Click the MVG disk pool to open the MVG disk pool details.
  5. In the Disk volumes table, find the disk volume, and click Evacuation details from the Actions menu on the right.
  6. On the Evacuation details page, select a different storage unit from the Storage Unit dropdown.
