NetBackup™ Deduplication Guide

Synchronizing the date and time of the NetBackup primary server and the MSDP storage server

Ensure that the operating system date and time of the storage server is consistent with the time of the NetBackup primary server. If the date and time are not reasonably synchronized, some of the NetBackup commands may fail with a "no entity found" message or more recent catalog backups might not be available. Also, some deduplication images could be incorrectly removed.
