- Copy the infrastructure package [nbinfra.tar.gz or nbinfra.zip] to the temporary directory.
Linux: /usr/openv/tmp/nbinfra/
Windows: Install_Path\NetBackup\Temp\nbinfra\
- Extract the package which contains nbinfra_VXUPDATE_PLATFORM_OS.sja for all supported platforms.
Copy all the platform SJAs into the NetBackup package repository location.
Linux: /usr/openv/var/global/repo
Windows: Install_Path\NetBackup\var\global\repo
- Ensure the repo directory is owned by serviceUser:bin, while all extracted
.sjafiles are owned by serviceUser:serviceGrp. - After extraction, attempt the VxUpdate deployment workflow (EEB uninstall) using the NetBackup web UI.
