NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 6793

Message: Failed to recover the VM.

Explanation: Recovery of the VM failed on Azure Stack during the restore operation.

Possible reasons for this issue:

  • The VM size is not in valid format.

  • The operation quota was exceeded.

  • The VM name already exists on Azure Stack.

  • For managed disk VM restores only:

    • Failed to create the disk while the conversion of unmanaged VHD blobs to managed disks occurs.

    • An operation quota has been exceeded.

Recommended Action: Review the tar log file for the exact error message. Review the HTTP response message, in the tar log file, for exact error reason.
